Who is Jim and why is he jammin’?

Jim Fusco is the producer and webmaster for WCJM free Internet radio. The free Internet radio station has been the closest to his heart of all his projects and he has spent countless hours planning and producing radio shows, designing and creating web pages, and promoting the WCJM radio station. And yet, he has still found time to produce independent radio shows under the title of “Jammin’ with Jim.” Why Jammin’? Well, as Jim says, for obvious alliteration purposes. And this says a lot about his own personal comedy radio show – it’s his opportunity to “jam,” playing the songs he loves and creating new and hilarious standup comedy and comedy skits.

What is “Jammin’ with Jim” like?

While this is a solo show, Jim often invites special guests on during some portion of the WCJM radio show. Stuffy D. Bear has been a regular contributor to the “Jammin’ with Jim” show, as well as fellow morning show cast members Chris Moore and Jeff Copperthite. He includes standup comedy routines during the broadcast, as well as comedy skits wherever possible.

What is “The Leap Year Show” all about and why are there two?

“The Leap Year Show” is one of the traditions of the “Jammin’ with Jim” comedy radio show. Unfortunately missing 2004, Jim recorded a leap year-themed radio show in 2000 and then returned to the mixing board in 2008 for an updated leap year show. He plans to return for another in 2012. This is one of WCJM free Internet radio’s few enduring traditions!

What does “Jammin’ with Jim” have to offer the Internet radio community?

As he has often promised during free funny radio show broadcasts, Jim thinks it is the primary function of a free Internet radio station to provide quality comedy skits and standup comedy for all to listen and enjoy.
